The Foremost Models HD-2 and HD-2H heavy duty scrap grinders are designed specifically for beside-the-press operation. These machines are constructed of heavy gauge steel throughout, with the cutting chamber a rigid one-piece weldment.

The Foremost Model HD-4A Heavy duty scrap grinder has been designed specifically for beside-the-press operation. These machines are constructed of heavy gauge steel throughout, with the cutting chamber a rigid one-piece weldment.

Heavy Duty Granulators HD-5C

Designed for blow molding, injection molding and recycling industries, the Foremost Model HD-5C Heavy duty grinder is constructed with an offset rotor, self-aligning roller bearings and is powered by a 30HP 1800 RPM TEFC motor.

Heavy Duty Granulators HD-6C

The HD-6C is specifically designed to reduce dust and fines. Granulators naturally produce dust, especially with dull knives and improper knife gap. Dust is greatly reduced with the HD-6C. A three-bladed rotor is used to “shear” material instead of “take a bite” out of the material. The dairy package of this model is especially popular.

The LD-7C scrap grinder is specifically designed and built to granulate either large parts or high volumes of scrap material. With its large throat size of 24″ x 24″, offset cutting chamber and rugged construction, large molded parts can be readily granulated without the need for pre-cutting.

Foremost’s High Shear Granulator has been field-proven for over 40 years, both alone and as part of complete inline film recycling systems. Intended for all types of film and other soft materials, the current design utilizes a center feed chamber and a special adjustable, precision knife arrangement.

High Shear Granulator - 1008

Our High Shear Granulators feature a cutting chamber design suitable for a wide range of applications including hot melt, sprues, runners, and small parts. Specific models are available for each type of granulating and all are offered with optional sound attenuation for granulating at under 80 dBA.

High Shear Film and Sheet Granulators - SHFG 1116, HSFG 1116, 1132, 1148, 1632

Our High Shear Film and Sheet Granulators are suitable for a wide range of applications including grinding sheet, film, roll stock, edge trim, and slabs. Specific models are available for each type of granulating and all are offered with optional SQ sound attenuation for granulating at under 80 dBA.

Futura Granulators

FUTURA Quiet Granulators – QG-1410

The Foremost QG-1410, with 40% more throat area than the Model 1010, retains that model’s slim profile, with the same two foot width. Along with the usual sprues and runners, this size can accommodate large reject parts, such as gallon bottles.

FUTURA Quiet Granulators - QG-1814

The Foremost QG-1814, only a few inches wider than the smaller models in the QG Series, has a throat area at least 80% greater than competitive models of similar width.

This line of high capacity, heavy duty granulators can accommodate heavy extruded or cast sheet, or thermoforming scrap.
